Community Advisory Committee
The initiative is overseen by the Community Advisory Committee (CAC), which is made up of six volunteers from organizations representing the community of the Chéticamp region and observer members.
This committee:
- Is tasked with establishing the The Welcoming Francophone Community of the Chéticamp region’s priorities, identifying activities/projects/costs and making related recommendations
- Acts as an intermediary for conveying information on the initiative’s progress between the Réseau en Immigration Francophone de la Nouvelle-Écosse (RIFNÉ) local partnerships and the Welcoming Francophone Community of the Chéticamp region.
During its meetings, the CAC is accompanied by the program manager.
